Lightrail Question

From CRC Cultivator:

I would like to work with a moving upper light.

What I think could be beneficial, the reducing of hot spots and better canopy penetration.

There are controversial opinions on that.

The manufacturer claims it could be the best that you can do for indoor growing and I got a light manufacturer which argues against a moving light. The plants could get stressed and will not perform. He favorites a stationary light.

Is there anything evidence based about that topic?

Dear Henry,

thank you for answering one of my questions. I am a cultivator from germany and new to this network and Ashley dropped the questions for me.

Thank you again for that.

I am using right now a horizontal mover with a ndl lamp. And that works fine. It is time to switch to led lighting. I was thinking about to use the mover furthermore. But now with your last details I will go with stationary lighting.

Thanks

Tim
