August Recording
In this session, we kicked off with CRC updates Our research team, including Dr. Kirk, Dr. Shields, Dr. Roggen, and our founder Dr. Justice, shared research updates. We discussed our recent study on Cannatrol Vaportrol technology, which showed a notable difference in trichome preservation. Additionally, we provided insights from the ongoing Science of Smokability (SOS) study.
We discovered that the Health Canada method used for quantitative smoke sampling does not accurately replicate human cannabis smoking behavior, leading us to plan for a phase 1.2 of SOS to collect puff topography data. We also covered upcoming events, including our participation in the Boston Freedom Rally and MJBiz event and Necann Syracuse, where we will continue to collect cannabis smoke topography.
Lastly, we addressed submitted questions on various topics, including cannabis breeding software recommendations, cultivation strategies, and the impact of the Athena Fade approach on plant growth and smokability. We also discussed how to prepare and replenish soils for outdoor hemp growing, and the importance of managing Hop Latent Viroid (HLVD) to maintain yield.
Thank you for joining us, and stay tuned for more updates in our next open forum call in October!
